It is often said that someone never really leaves. This also seems to be the case with our new/old colleague Marc Weinberger. He has had a connection to B&W since the beginning of his professional life. Why? Our corporate culture has left a lasting impression on our former trainee. B&W as an employer brand works! But we don’t want to give too much away.

Marc, now a software developer, returned to B&W Engineering after his studies and for good reason. Even during his internship in 2022, he was impressed by the open corporate culture, the trust placed in the employees’ abilities by their superiors and the exciting projects ranging from isulin pumps and dosing test benches to automotive technology.

In contrast to some other graduates, it was a little easier for him to decide where to go after his studies. ‘I wanted to return to B&W because the working atmosphere, the projects and my colleagues had already impressed me during my internship. The mixture of trust, collegiality and working atmosphere make B&W a good employer.’

Today, he works on innovative embedded projects and experiences on a daily basis how much personal responsibility and trust are practised in the company. ‘I was given tasks right from the start and was able to solve them independently thanks to the trust I was given, even shortly after graduating, which is not the case everywhere.’
At B&W, it is important to us that young talents take responsibility for results at an early stage and that we are still on hand when support is needed, which is also part of our philosophy and our innovative strength. Because new and young employees can give rise to new perspectives and new ideas. (B&W added value) The water we throw our new employees into is not quite so cold, but it is lukewarm. In addition to independent responsibility, we also provide extensive induction training during the start-up phase.

We and Marc agree that corporate culture is the key to success. After all, it is only through a familiar working environment and partnership-based cooperation that an atmosphere can be created in which employees feel comfortable and enjoy coming to work.
